We’re Ryan and Max—two friends who met on the first day of freshman orientation at UC Berkeley, both rocking the same pair of white Air Max 97s. That accidental twinning turned into a brotherhood: we pledged the same fraternity, lived together as roommates, and bonded over countless late-night food runs and a shared love for bold ideas.As food lovers and lifelong snackers, we’ve always loved the convenience and nostalgic flavor of frozen snacks—anything we could toss in the air fryer and enjoy in minutes. But the more we learned about what was actually in those foods, the harder they became to enjoy.
